Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to manage the leasing process from initial prospect inquiry through move-in. The adecuado candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience in residential real estate or property management, and the ability to effectively convert leads into qualified tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and leasing platforms.
Qualify prospective tenants based on property requirements, rental criteria, and availability.
Schedule and coordinate property showings, virtual tours, and follow-ups.
Conduct property tours and clearly communicate property features, pricing, policies, and lease terms.
Manage leasing leads through the CRM and maintain accurate records of prospect interactions.
Follow up consistently with prospects to maximize lead conversion and occupancy.
Process rental applications and coordinate screening, verification, and required documentation.
Prepare and coordinate lease agreements, renewals,



and move-in documentation.
Communicate with applicants, tenants, property managers, and internal teams throughout the leasing process.
Coordinate move-in dates, deposits, utilities, keys, and other onboarding requirements.
Monitor available units and ensure listings have accurate pricing, photos, descriptions, and availability.
Assist with lease renewals and identify opportunities to reduce vacancy and improve retention.
Ensure leasing activities comply with company policies and applicable fair housing and rental regulations.
Provide regular updates and reports on leads, applications, conversions, occupancy, and leasing performance.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the residential leasing process.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
