Profile:
Responsible for the managing the day to day plant production operations.Responsibilities:
Direct and manage plant operations for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost- Coordinate plant activities to ensure the manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.- Monitor overall plant performance for safety, production and quality standards.- Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.- Maintains preventative maintenance programs.- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel (5S).- Responsible for overall employee performance issues and systems.- Maintains quality and safety programs and policies as administered by corporate.- Plans and apportions production resources to accomplish the plants goals.



This includes preparation of short and long-term asset utilization as well as production goals and delivery deadlines.- Drive improvements in plant operations, manufacturing processes and procedures leading to productivity and efficiency gains.Requirements:
BA or BS Degree with a strong preference in engineering.- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management/leadership role in a manufacturing environment.- Strong working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.- Ability to manage, train, and coach people effectively in a changing environment.- Must be oriented to process and improvement with a strong bias to results.- Superb written and verbal communication skills.- Strong operations experience and demonstrated ability to run a manufacturing operation.- Exceptional leadership skills, high energy level, and maturity as a leader and motivator.- Demonstrated capability to holding others accountable and rewarding outstanding efforts of team members at all levels.- Handle multiple concurrent tasks with competing priorities.
