The Role

As a Mongo Database Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and support of enterprise relational and non‑relational database environments, with a strong focus on MongoDB platforms. In this role, you will ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of business‑critical data platforms supporting customer operations.

You will work closely with global and cross‑functional teams to support production environments under strict service level agreements (SLAs),



investigate and resolve incidents, and continuously improve database services in accordance with Kyndryl standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and operate MongoDB relational and non‑relational database environments, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database engines, including patching, hardening, and lifecycle management activities.
- Monitor database performance and capacity, performing performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
- Provide operational support for business‑critical production environments under SLAs, including monitoring, alert analysis, and troubleshooting of incidents.
- Manage database security, backups, recovery, high availability solutions, and produce accurate technical documentation and operational standards.
