The Role

As a Database Administrator SQL Server at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and support of enterprise relational and non‑relational database environments. In this role, you will ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of business‑critical data platforms that support customer operations.

You will work closely with cross‑functional and general teams to support production environments under strict service level agreements (SLAs), resolve incidents,



and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Kyndryl standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and operate MS SQL Server relational and non‑relational database environments, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database engines, including patching, hardening, and lifecycle management activities.
- Monitor database performance and capacity, executing performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
- Provide operational support for business‑critical production environments under SLAs, including monitoring, alert analysis, and incident troubleshooting.
- Manage database security, backups, recovery, high availability solutions, and maintain accurate technical documentation and operational standards.
