About the Role:
As the Mexico Comms team, we're responsible for telling Uber's story to a wide audience across the country. Needless to say it's a big endeavor, and we're excited to share that we're looking for a creative storyteller to join our family.

We need someone that'll show how our technology helps people go anywhere and get anything. We are looking for an expert communicator who will help to pitch stories while handling reactive queries in a busy and fast-paced environment.

Based in Mexico City, you will report directly to the Head of Communications, and work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership across our businesses.

What You'll Do:
- Work to tell our story in creative, inspiring ways that resonate with journalists and the general public
- Support on the design and execution of corporate, product and regulatory PR campaigns to help advance our business objectives for Uber and Uber Eats in Mexico
- Lead resources for maximum impact, including working with agencies to amplify our communications strategy
- A self starter: Uber is a company of entrepreneurs,



and we want to work with people who enjoy building things from the bottom up. You'll be used to working calmly in a constantly evolving environment
- A fact finder: You'll love getting into the details and understanding an issue from all sides
- A superb writer: We're looking for people who can distill sophisticated ideas into simple but credible arguments
- A creative thinker: You are able to analyse trends and identify creative ways to make Uber relevant
- Resilience and grit as an ability to handle complex scenarios
- Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate around shared goals

What You'll Need:
- A proficient English speaker
- 3+ years of experience in communications, PR and/or journalism
- Degree-level education
