Position overview:
This role will be providing strategic support to the entire organization. The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for implementing strategies and workflows surrounding successful execution of freight, including expedited orders while providing world-class customer service. Requests could come from internal or external customers and will require a process of accurate, quick and clear communication.

Responsibilities:
As a Transportation Analyst, you may be responsible for the following activities in accordance with your role:




- Execute expedited freight processes, quoting urgent shipments
- Execute cross-border shipments from US to Mexico, international freight to the Americas
- Utilize and maintain TMS (Transportation Management Software)
- Measure and evaluate carrier effectiveness
- Ensure efficient and on time movements throughout the transportation network
- Prepare reports on routing and financial metrics
- Update and maintain KPI’s
- Improve freight cost recovery of expedited freight
- Support global and local transportation initiatives
- Provide day-to-day support of internal and external customers regarding transportation
- Other duties as assigned
