The Trading Application Support Engineer will offer essential technical assistance to the trading desk and back-office functions with a focus on bond and loan trading. The right candidate will bring a solid grasp of financial instruments, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to perform well in a fast-moving, high-pressure setting. The adecuado individual should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the personality needed to interact effectively with traders, portfolio managers, and operations personnel. They should be a natural collaborator, working smoothly with others to understand and fulfill requirements. The support engineer should be able to see the bigger picture and take a proactive stance in enhancing the daily support function. The candidate must display outstanding programming and data management proficiency, strong spoken and written communication abilities, and align culturally with values centered on teamwork,

Responsibilities
- Provide prompt daily technical assistance for the trading platform and Business-to-Business integration flows
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including traders, portfolio managers, operations, analysts, and finance/compliance experts to carry out requirements gathering, application design, and delivery
- Maintain a rigorous software development lifecycle standard with a firm focus on automated testing and regression coverage
- Establish and keep up a professional-grade internal knowledge repository to enable smooth operations and shared learning
- Conduct training for business users and guide new team members through the tools and processes to ensure a seamless transition
- Actively support and strengthen the team's culture, overarching vision, and mission
