We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Trading Application Support Engineer to join our team.
The Trading Application Support Engineer will provide critical technical support to the trading desk and back-office operations specializing in bond/loan trading. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial instruments, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal person should possess strong communication skills and have the personality to effectively engage with traders, portfolio managers, and operations. They should be a natural team player, able to collaborate seamlessly to understand and meet requirements. The support engineer should be able to connect the dots and be proactive toward improving the day-to-day support function. The candidate must have excellent programming and data management skills, strong verbal/written communication skills, and be a cultural fit with an emphasis on teamwork, excellence and results.
Responsibilities




- Deliver timely day-to-day technical support for the trading platform and Business-to-Business integrations
- Engage with business users such as traders, portfolio managers, operations, analysts, and finance/compliance professionals to conduct requirements analysis, application design, and implementation
- Uphold a high standard of the software development lifecycle with a strong emphasis on automated testing and regression practices
- Create and maintain a professional-level internal knowledge base to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing
- Deliver training sessions for business users and onboard new joiners to ensure smooth adoption of tools and processes
- Contribute to and reinforce the team's culture, overall vision, and mission

Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional relevant experience, or equivalent work experience in the financial industry, with a solid understanding of, or strong potential to quickly
