Role Description
The Demand Planning Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mérida, YUC, responsible for forecasting product demand and supporting inventory and supply chain decisions. This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to develop accurate demand plans for apparel, headwear, and accessories. The specialist collaborates closely with finance, sales, customer service, and operations teams to align demand forecasts with budget, production, and distribution strategies. Daily tasks include monitoring forecast performance,



updating planning models, preparing reports and dashboards, and recommending adjustments to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory. The role also supports continuous process improvement by documenting best practices and proposing enhancements to planning tools and workflows.

Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and produce accurate demand forecasts.
Clear communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to stakeholders.
Basic finance skills to understand budgeting, margin, and cost impacts of demand and inventory decisions.
Experience with demand planning or supply chain tools (e.g., Excel, forecasting software, ERP systems).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in apparel, retail, or consumer goods is an advantage.
