Resumen: This role supports transportation planning, carrier coordination, and compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations, contributing to efficient supply chain operations. Responsabilidades:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal stakeholders
- Schedule and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays
- Manage transportation documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork
- Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers regarding shipment status
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations (e.g., IMMEX, customs requirements)
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Support inventory control through proper tracking of shipments and discrepancies
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports on performance metrics (OTD, transit time, cost)
- Identify and resolve shipping issues, delays, or damages in a timely manner




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Warehouse) to ensure material flow continuity

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or traffic in a manufacturing environment (maquiladora preferred)

Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of transportation processes (LTL, FTL, expedited shipments)
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs documentation
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reports, pivot tables)
