Summary

Key Duties &

- Responsibilities

- Process Improvement: Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen events, 5S, and Standard Work) to optimize production lines.
- Project Management: Assist in the tracking and execution of engineering or administrative projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Technical Documentation: Help update and maintain manufacturing blueprints, work instructions, and quality compliance records.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside production, quality, and supply chain teams to solve daily operational challenges.
- Sustainability &
- Safety: Participate in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) audits and initiatives to ensure a safe working culture.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Currently enrolled in the final year (last 2 semesters) of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or Business Management (IGE).
- Language: Advanced English proficiency (bilingual). Must be able to hold conversations and write reports in English.
- Status: Must be a proactive student with a valid internship agreement
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Availability: Ability to work 30 hours per week at the Hermosillo plant.

- Lean Mindset: Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, resilience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
