The Medical Manager will be responsible for: + Member of the Affiliate Management Team, with direct participation in governance meetings. + Medical Manager supervision in the technical approach related to each product strategy, assuring that the medical function is solid represented by the different divisional teams. + Provide guidance from the Medical Affairs point of view, to the marketing strategies of Abbott products. + Development of communication strategies and processes, that transforms the techno-scientific language of the pharmaceutical products in a consistent marketing information, towards a safety and risk-controlled practice for the EPD product use in the market. + Support the following areas of Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Training, Medical Research, Data Generation,
Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs. **What You'll Do:** + Lead the group of Medical Managers assuring that the Medical Affairs related requirements and processes, are conducted in adherence to the company policies. + Provide medical support to other functional areas of the company. Participate in the development, review and approval of the promotional material, of the products under his/her responsibility. + Provide scientific and medical support to the commercial area including disease awarenes, launching readines and periodical training to the Sales Force. + Lead the group of MSLs and Medical Analyst assuring that the Medical Affairs related requirements and processes, are conducted in adherence to the company policies. + Develop and mantain business relationships with the medical community (medical societies, researchers, opinion leaders and health authorities). + Support in the scientific or medical evaluation of business opportunities. + Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), local health regulations related to Medical research, pharmacovigilance and promotional materials, according with available medical/scientific evidence. + Review and implement changes in the Prescribing (Product) Information (PI) of the products under his/her responsibility and ensure that such changes are aligned with Company Core Data Sheet (CCDS). + Improve the strength of the affiliate in Medical and new evidence research activities, within the corporation for the products under his/her responsibility. + Assure that all Medical Affairs procedures and activities are in adherence to the Best Practices,
OEC Guidance, Local Regulation (if needed) and divisional SOPs. **Position Accountability/Scope** **KEY INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES** + Responsible to manage Medical Affairs related processes and systems + Medical oversight for New Evidence Generation studies executed in the affiliate + Internal stakeholders: Medical Affairs employees including affiliate medical staff, Clinical Development staff, PV staff and other business areas: Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory. + External stakeholders: business partners (contractors, consultants, vendors, HCPs, KOLs, patients and users, Health Entities). **Required Qualifications** + 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medical practice + Good awareness and understanding of medical affairs operations, and working across many functional areas, including Marketing support and Sales Force training. + Good awareness and understanding of Medical Studies, inspection readiness, communication channels + Good English language communication skills, both in written and oral form. + Good interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills. + Availability to travel. + Adaptability, Integrity and Teamwork. **Minimum Education** + Medical degree or HCP degree + Post graduate studies or master's degree in any medical field/specialty is mandatory Apply Now (https://www.jobs.abbott/) Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
