STAFF ACCOUNTANT opportunity in a business that encompasses Real Estate and Senior Living
Our company is an owner, operator, and/or manager of senior living communities across multiple states. As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, general ledger account reconciliations, and financial statements along with supporting schedules. Additionally, you will assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close processes.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including preparation of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations for assets, liabilities, equity accounts, and payroll. Prepare variance analysis reports and provide commentary on actual vs. budget variances.
Perform reconciliations between two or more systems. Assist with other accounting-related tasks as requested Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) Proven experience working with US companies and strong knowledge of US GAAP Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance Administration, Economics, or a related field Demonstrated job stability and professional commitment Minimum of 2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience. Previous experience in the Senior Living industry is preferred.
