VP/Head of Engineering #****Position Summary:Our partner is a large, established hospitality organization with more than 10,000 hotel rooms and 15,000 employees, embarking on a companywide digital transformation.Historically, customer-facing technology has been delivered through consulting partners and third-party platforms.The organization is now building its internal digital product engineering capability from the ground up to own and evolve the next generation of customer experiences.As the technical counterpart to a senior Product executive, this leader will establish the engineering vision, architecture, cloud strategy, AI-enabled development practices, and technical foundations that support multiple customer-facing digital platforms.This is a rare opportunity to build a modern product engineering organization inside a business with significant scale, established brands, and executive commitment.There is no mature software engineering organization to inherit.The idóneo candidate combines the technical depth of a Principal Engineer with the leadership of a VP of Engineering, remaining hands-on with architecture, code reviews, prototyping, and engineering decisions while building the team, culture, and operating model from the ground up.Experience and Education:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or an equivalent professional background.
