The Engineer Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team.The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks.Responsibilities:Contribute to the budgetary requirement definition for assigned product area, develop functional specifications, and create project plans and software release schedulesPartner with business and development teams to identify engineering requirements and assist in defining application and system requirements and processes and maintain engineering relationships with the end user/clientEnsure requirements/tasks from technology departments and/or end users are communicated to stakeholdersProvide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements and consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOsExhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principlesAssist with training activities and mentor junior team membersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating,



managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:5-8 years of relevant experience in an Engineering roleExperience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or integral environmentProject Management experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationComprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practicesDemonstrated analytic/diagnostic skillsAbility to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teamsAbility to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiativeAbility to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsProven track record of operational process change and improvementEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceCapable of deploying highly scalable, reliable, cost-effective systems in Cloud platforms and on-premise.Experience in developing scripts for Build automation tools like Maven, NPMStreamlined end-end Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline using GIT (Bitbucket/Github), maven, Jenkins or Github Actions, Nexus/Artifactory.Expertise in Configuration Management and Deployment tools such as Ansible or similar in large production environments and developed Ansible Playbooks to automate the deployment process.Desired hands on Kubernetes to automate deployment, scaling and management of web Containerized applications, Container Storage, automation,



to enhance container platform multi-tenancy.Good knowledge of working with monitoring and analytics tools like Prometheus/Grafana, or similar tools in cloud such as Cloud Watch.Experience in implementing and administering observability frameworks such as OpenTelemetry.Desired hands-on experience in developing infrastructure as a code by creating resources through some IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.Generated Docker files to build docker images and leveraged docker containers in Kubernetes.Desired worked on infrastructure with micro service model like Docker Containerization and collaborated with Development teams to setup a continuous delivery environment.Experience using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to drive different tech stack builds such as Java, Node.js, docker images, .
