Administer core parts of IFSA study abroad programs in MeridaLead planning and support delivery of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, orientations, and eventsCoordinate enrollment and student support services with local university partnersSupport effective academic administration, course registration, academic advising, and student roadmap consultationsParticipate in pre-arrival student webinarsPlan and deliver welcome orientationsCoordinate excursions, activities, orientations, and eventsConduct appreciative advising sessions and meet with students to assess experiences and goalsManage program data for accuracy and integrityTrain and manage program assistants on a rotation basisContribute to emergency response and student incident management, including after-hours phone rotationSupport budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, expense tracking, and financial reportsComply with academic, disciplinary, health and safety, operational, and fiscal policiesAttend and contribute to regional meetingsOversee the general office email and respond to queriesCoordinate with university partners regarding enrollment, housing, student support, transcripts, and academic/co-curricular offeringsCultivate relationships with sending and host university partners and local partnersIdentify opportunities to diversify the program portfolioHost site visits and lead group site seminarsTravel to U.S. institutions and professional conferences to promote programsSupport development and delivery of new semester-long and summer programsDevelop custom program proposalsReview programs and implement improvementsDefine program objectives, course content,



and delivery schedulesManage program launch timelines and content development plansRecruit, onboard, and train instructorsDevelop and manage resources for new programsLaunch student evaluations, collect data, and design continual-improvement action plansOversee student conduct and academic trajectoriesContribute to organizational best practices and standard operating proceduresPrepare annual budget requests and monthly expenditure reports to the CFOMaintain local bank accounts and petty cash reservesUnderstand legal guidelines and liability issues for Mexico programsLiaise with local legal and accounting teamsRequirementsUndergraduate degree is required, ideally in Social Sciences or related discipline; Masters preferred5 or more years of work experience, with evidence of progression in responsibility in higher education, tourism, event planning, public policy, or hospitalityStrong time management and planning skillsAbility to work independently and execute time-sensitive tasks successfullyEvidence of initiative and ability to improve operational and administrative proceduresExceptional verbal, interpersonal, presentation,
