In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:ResponsibilitiesLead, coordinate, and support EHS personnel in developing and implementing programs that promote and strengthen a proactive safety cultureLead, coach, mentor, and develop EHS team members while supporting their professional growth and alignment with organizational objectivesEnsure compliance with all applicable internal and external EHS regulations, standards, and requirementsEstablish and maintain effective, professional relationships with regulatory agencies and authoritiesDevelop and implement standards, procedures, and initiatives focused on incident prevention, environmental protection, and pollution preventionConduct regular EHS audits, inspections, assessments, and management reviews to identify opportunities for improvementDevelop, implement, and maintain emergency response and preparedness plansDefine, coordinate, and oversee EHS training programs to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and compliablyProvide support and leadership during federal and state regulatory audits and inspectionsData Analysis and ReportingCollect, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics and key performance indicatorsPrepare management reports highlighting EHS trends, risks, performance gaps, and recommended improvement actionsAnalyze accident, injury, near-miss, and incident data to identify trends and opportunities for preventionDevelop, coordinate, and/or conduct EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessmentsProcess Safety and Continuous ImprovementProvide EHS expertise and guidance for new, modified, and existing processesAnalyze EHS statistics, records, and documentation to identify trends, risks,
and areas requiring corrective actionPromote safe work practices and behaviors while supporting employee development and accountabilityMonitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of EHS issuesIdentify, propose, and implement ergonomic improvements to reduce workplace risks and enhance employee well-beingDrive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen EHS performance and operational excellenceWho You AreYou have a strong understanding of EHS regulations and a demonstrated commitment to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and requirements.
You have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS initiatives that improve safety performance, reduce risk, and foster a strong safety culture.

You build strong, collaborative relationships with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization and work effectively with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
You are also a proactive problem-solver who can identify root causes, develop practical solutions, and address potential EHS risks before they result in serious incidents or regulatory concerns.For This Role, You Will NeedProven experience leading EHS teams and programs with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and workplace safety.Extensive knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance standards, and best practices across different legal jurisdictions.Demonstrated success in developing,
implementing, and leading comprehensive EHS programs.Proven ability to conduct safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify workplace hazards and risks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees, management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, empower, and inspire teams to prioritize safety and environmental responsibility.Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify EHS issues and implement effective corrective actions.Solid knowledge of risk assessment, mitigation, and management techniques.Preferred Qualifications That Set You ApartBachelors degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with approximately 90% proficiency in both languages.Masters degree in a relevant field preferred.10+ years of experience in occupational safety, health, and environmental management, or an equivalent role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.10+ years of experience focused on environmental, health, and safety regulations, including STPS/NOM requirements.Comprehensive knowledge of international, federal, state, municipal, environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data analysis, and reporting functions.Requerimientos- Educación mínima: Educación superior - Licenciatura5 años de experienciaPalabras fundamental: lider, jefe, gerente, manager, director, chief, lead, jefatura, regente#J-*****-Ljbffr
