In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and testing of new products. This role manages all technical elements to maintain required product performance and schedules.

Responsibility

- Develop new products that meet customer requirements to defined project timelines.
- Determining the most cost-effective and efficient manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly procedures.
- Work with Product Management, Applications Engineering, and manufacturing teams to align product features with product needs and confirm feasibility
- Own engineering release of product documentation: CAD models, Drawings and BOM
- Create initial product entry (BOM, RT) into ERP system and maintain changes
- Design extrusion dies and process tools as required
- Cost calculations for new products and customer prototypes preparation
- Coordinate prototype build plans and evaluation through physical lab testing
- Work with suppliers to identify material alternative solutions based on market trends




- Define and conduct all necessary tests to meet customer and industry standard requirements
- Address requests for product extensions, drawing changes, and engineering quotes.
- Work closely with cross functional team, provide technical leadership to enable the commitment and execution of project goals to defined targets.
- Prepare project status reports and communicates to management team.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years related wire and cable design experience
- Workingknowledge of cable manufacturing processes
- Lead product development through the product development life cycle.
- Good communication and English language skills and ability to work in international project teams
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Windchill, SAP, and SolidWorks experience.
