The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) at Reynosa is responsible for supporting and driving manufacturing engineering initiatives across launch readiness, automation strategy, digital manufacturing, capacity expansion, footprint optimization to enable multi-product, high-complexity operations, and cross-functional leadership. This role drives product-family accountability, capital project execution, and KPI ownership to deliver measurable business impact across product pillars, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic objectives for multi-product, high-complexity manufacturing.

Provide process engineering support, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, equipment implementation, line setup, manufacturing readiness, and product transfer activities specific to the Reynosa facility. Lead quality improvements, productivity initiatives, documentation management, process validation, and engineering changes aligned with strategic growth in Sheetmetal, copper, coil fabrication, powder coating, DCP, thermal, SWB LV, SWB MV, Wire processing, and other product pillars.

Responsibilities

- Lead launch readiness and line setup activities to ensure on-time product introductions and manufacturing readiness for new product lines.
- Support sustaining engineering and daily manufacturing operations across existing product families, ensuring high quality and productivity.
- Drive automation projects to reduce manual processes, improve labor efficiency, and support scalable capacity expansion.
- Implement and maintain digital manufacturing tools, including OEE monitoring, digital work instructions, analytics, and integrated dashboards for real-time operational visibility.
- Plan and optimize factory footprint and capacity in alignment with growth initiatives programs.
- Manage manufacturing documentation, process validation,



and engineering change controls.
- Provide executive oversight for product transfers, NPI phases 3-6, process validation, engineering change control, and BOM management, ensuring documentation integrity and timely handovers.
- Provide technical support for capital projects, product transfers, NVPD launches, and operational capacity expansions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the 3-year AME roadmap by staffing and building capabilities to support digital transformation and automation initiatives as the site scales.
- Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products.
- Technical Advisor for Vertiv manufacturing facilities.
- Specify manufacturing process capabilities and develop Process FMEAs to improve product manufacturability and quality
