Position Objective

Secure a cost-effective, sustainable, and reliable supply of direct materials by developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned categories. Drive supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and support business objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and sustainability.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage assigned direct material categories and the related supplier portfolio within the region.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and category plans.
- Own supplier panel management and sourcing activities for assigned categories.
- Achieve cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability targets through effective supplier management.
- Lead supplier negotiations and commercial discussions to secure optimal business outcomes.
- Ensure early supplier involvement in product development and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Support supplier relationship management through regular business reviews and performance monitoring.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to regional supplier lifecycle activities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply.
- Monitor and report sourcing activities, category performance, KPIs, and risk exposure to management.
- Align purchasing strategies with product lifecycle requirements, volume forecasts, and sustainability goals.
- Support the Category Lead in the development and execution of overall category strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to meet business objectives.
- Promote BRP values and behaviors in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.




- Ensure a safe working environment and maintain accountability for all safety-related topics.
- Adhere to and support BRP Quality policies and standards.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management.
- Experience managing direct material categories within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements with integral suppliers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational organization.
- Experience managing supplier performance, cost reduction initiatives, and supply risk mitigation activities.

Technical Skills

- Expertise in direct and indirect material sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, cost-driver analysis, and sourcing strategies.
- Experience working with international suppliers and multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Source-to-Pay (S2P) procurement platforms and digital sourcing tools.
- Strong supplier relationship and performance management skills.
- Ability to conduct supplier visits,



audits, and on-site evaluations.
- Advanced analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Additional Requirements

- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Valid passport and U.S. visa.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
