What You'll Do

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of AP Research Analysts, driving performance, accountability, customer service, and professional growth.
- Oversee supplier support and escalation processes, ensuring complex inquiries are investigated and resolved accurately and within established service levels.
- Investigate and resolve complex invoice and payment exceptions, including blocked invoices, short payments, missing payments, duplicate payments, credit memos, and vendor account balance issues.
- Monitor and reduce invoice exception backlogs, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
- Oversee vendor statement reconciliations, investigate aged AP balances,



and review unapplied credits and debit balances.
- Identify recurring process breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis to understand the drivers behind invoice and payment exceptions.
- Develop corrective action plans and collaborate with key Finance stakeholders to eliminate recurring issues and strengthen end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) performance.
- Lead and support the adoption and optimization of Xelix to improve exception management, operational efficiency, and supplier service outcomes.
- Support month-end and year-end AP close activities and help ensure accurate liability reporting.

These responsibilities directly reflect the role's emphasis on supplier inquiry management, operational leadership, root cause analysis, reconciliations, and Xelix optimization.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading teams, investigating complex Accounts Payable challenges, and turning recurring issues into long-term process improvements.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Finance Operations, with strong experience in AP exception resolution.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally managing or coordinating Accounts Payable operations or exception-resolution teams.
- Experience managing high-volume AP environments.
- Strong understanding of the Accounts Payable cycle, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, general ledger reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Hands-on experience managing supplier inquiries, invoice and payment exceptions, escalations, and vendor account reconciliations.




- Proven experience conducting root cause analysis, identifying recurring process issues, and developing corrective action plans.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Experience with AP automation platforms, case management systems, and workflow solutions. Experience with Xelix or similar technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A strong customer-service mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced English (C1) required.
