We're looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own the systems that define how users exist and move within Clara's platform — authentication, authorization, identity, and access control. This is one of those roles where the work is invisible when it's done right and critical when it's not. The scope is end-to-end:



designing auth flows, managing the user lifecycle, integrating Auth0 with Clara's platform, and making sure the frontend and backend sides of identity speak the same language. Security isn't a checklist here — it's a first-class concern baked into how we build.
Owning auth end-to-end: architecture, implementation, and Auth0 integration across frontend and backend
Leading a multidisciplinary team — sprint planning, standups, retros
Setting and holding the quality bar — through code reviews, design reviews, and your own work
5+ years of software engineering experience with solid execution in production environments
2+ years of hands-on experience implementing authentication and authorization with Auth0 or comparable identity platforms
Strong in Java and Spring on the backend, with solid frontend experience — React preferred
Solid understanding of security best practices for web applications and secure s
