Job Description
The Packaging Sourcing Specialist will work, in alignment with the General Packaging Sourcing Manager, to build & execute the category sourcing strategy: he / she
manages
sourcing projects for the America Central CG (Mexico), identifies and manage key stakeholders,



collaborates and advises internal customers to enable the sourcing of Packaging Materials at the best total cost while maximizing value for the organization Principal Accountabilities Support and implement commodity strategies for assigned category: include implementation plan, follow up to suppliers and plants on execution, manage minor incidents and provide solutions to any implementation issue.
Develop market intelligence with commodity drivers to Packaging portfolio. Monitor packaging market evolution, supply/demand and cost drivers (indexes). Analyze and coordinate efforts to develop and implement commodity initiatives / projects to drive savings by proactively support identification, definition and implementation of Packaging savings projects in the plants in scope working with the Packaging network, Total System Cost Community, plant managers and financial team.
Run local tenders in coordination with the Global Packaging Sourcing Manager, and negotiate commercial agreements for America Central CG. Negotiate legal contracts with suppliers with the supp
