About the Position

A confidential manufacturing company with IMMEX operations in Tijuana is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer / Business Development professional to generate new business and sell contract manufacturing and maquiladora services to customers in Mexico and the United States.

This is a technical sales position. We are looking for an engineer or manufacturing professional who understands industrial processes and has experience selling manufacturing capabilities—not a general sales representative.

The person selected will be responsible for prospecting, opening new accounts, identifying manufacturing programs and developing long-term relationships with customers.

Main Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new B2B customers in Tijuana, Baja California, Northern Mexico and the United States.
- Sell contract manufacturing, maquiladora, assembly and specialized manufacturing services.
- Identify opportunities within the electronics, medical, automotive, plastic injection molding and related manufacturing industries.
- Develop relationships with Purchasing, Sourcing, Engineering, Operations and other decision-makers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend technically viable manufacturing solutions.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and presentations.
- Follow up on RFQs, quotations, new programs and business opportunities.
