The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary:
Your responsibilities will include:

Provide strategic and operational support for assigned commodity spend within the Motors & Pumps commodity business team, supporting Whirlpool’s 13 North America assembly and manufacturing plants.

Actively develop and manage strategic supplier relationships while managing risk and compliance (contract negotiations, new product readiness, availability, purchase order maintenance, technical projects, RFQ / market testing, etc.).
