WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPECIALIZED TALENT IN TOOLING DESIGN
Do you have experience in the design and development of plastic injection molds, and are you passionate about turning manufacturing challenges into practical technical solutions?
At Industrias Cazel, we are looking for our next Tooling Designer, who will play a key role in developing, modifying, and optimizing molds, fixtures, gages, electrodes, and tooling used in our operations.
What will be your challenge?
• Design and modify molds, tooling, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Follow up on engineering changes and mold/tooling repairs.
• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation for CNC machining and EDM.
• Design fixtures, gages, and electrodes.
• Validate machining processes against dimensional requirements.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve tooling and manufacturing problems.
• Participate in the development of new projects.
• Manage and update technical information and tooling designs.
• Provide technical support to the mold shop and contribute to personnel development.




What are we looking for?
Degree in Mold Engineering, Tool & Die Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mold/tooling design and development.
Experience in the automotive and/or plastic injection industry.
Proficiency in CAD, CAM, and CAE.
Strong knowledge of GD&T; and technical drawing interpretation.
Knowledge of steels, heat treatments, and machining processes.
Experience using measuring instruments and interpreting dimensional inspection reports.
Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.
Conversational English.
Experience in the following areas will be a plus:
Poka Yoke | TPM | 5S | 8D | Continuous Improvement | Project Management | CNC | EDM
