We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team
at NOV Shared Services Mexico. In this role, you will play a crucial part in
supporting multiple business entities across North America, ensuring accurate
and timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of
general accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet
reconciliations, and SOX compliance, all while working closely with our
Accounting Managers and Controllers. This is an excellent opportunity to

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
* Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring timely completion.
* Assist with SOX testing and maintain compliant documentation.
* Support internal and external audits, providing necessary financial
information.
* Work collaboratively with Accounting Managers and Controllers to resolve
accounting issues.
* Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate
policies.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
* Provide financial analysis and information to support management
decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and quality assurance procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
* Experience in General Ledger Accounting and month-end close activities.
* Proficiency in preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, JDE, or similar.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) is an advantage.
* Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
