Your Team Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Developer to join our Market Data team, working on next-generation solutions for the 3rd Party Benchmark Portfolio. As a member of the Development team, you will contribute to building high-performance and scalable services using modern programming languages and technologies. These services provide an efficient and comprehensive gateway into our Indices group.

You will work within a integral team of experienced Software Engineers, collaborating with Developers and Testers across multiple locations including Manila, Budapest, Monterrey, San Francisco, and Norman. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their technical skills, learn best practices, and contribute to high-quality software in a collaborative environment.

MSCI operates in a hybrid working model (2 days in office / 3 days remote), offering flexibility and work-life balance. MSCI provides the necessary equipment and technology for employees.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers, Product Management,



and Program Management to help translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of a modern platform using current technologies and industry best practices
- Implement features, fixes, and enhancements under guidance, following established design and coding standards
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with appropriate unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
- Support automated testing and CI/CD pipelines as part of the development process
- Work within a DevOps model to support monitoring and production processes
- Assist with software migration efforts to the Azure cloud platform
- Use development tools such as VS Code, Git, and GitHub Copilot AI assistant:
- Continuously develop technical skills and domain knowledge through learning and mentorship
