Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Intake Specialist / Legal Assistant to support a U.S.based immigration law firm by serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients while also assisting with legal administrative case support.

This dual-role position is essential to ensuring a professional, empathetic intake experience while maintaining organized case workflows that support attorneys and legal teams. The role combines client communication, eligibility screening, intake coordination, and legal administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Intake Specialist Responsibilities
- Conduct structured intake screenings using firm-approved scripts and checklists
- Gather detailed personal and immigration information from clients
- Identify potential immigration relief options based on provided facts (training provided)
- Schedule consultations and ensure proper consultation preparation
- Enter accurate client information into case management systems
- Follow up with prospective clients regarding scheduling and next steps
- Maintain intake pipeline tracking and organized records
- Provide professional, empathetic communication and manage client expectations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information

Legal Assistant Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients and maintain organized electronic case files
- Monitor deadlines, case progress, and calendar scheduling
- Assist with requesting
