Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Leader

Ensure that suppliers consistently meet quality, delivery, and technical requirements through audits, performance analysis, and active involvement in new project launches, in alignment with IATF 16949 and automotive Core Tools standards.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Audit, evaluate, and approve new suppliers based on quality, processes, capacity, and compliance.
- Participate in validation and qualification of suppliers for production parts, indirect materials, or critical services.
- Ensure compliance with customer and industry quality requirements (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.).
- Monitor nonconforming deliveries, lead 8D investigations with suppliers, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.




- Supervise supplier PPAP documentation preparation and submission.
- Establish and maintain supplier quality KPIs (PPM, OTD, audit scores, SCARs).
- Lead on-site audits: selection, process, and follow-up.
- Actively participate in new product/project launch meetings, ensuring supply quality from early stages.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering and Purchasing on engineering changes to prevent quality impact.
- Promote continuous improvement in the supply chain (scrap reduction, process improvement, etc.).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years in supplier quality assurance, preferably in the automotive sector

KNOWLEDGE

- IATF 16949 standard
- APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC
- Blueprint interpretation and GD&T;
- Process audits (VDA 6.3 preferred)
- Manufacturing materials and processes
- ISO 9001, Core Tools
- Advanced English (written and spoken

40-hour schedule: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
