Join our client as HR Operations Manager in Mexico. In this on-site role, you will lead all human resources activities for local operations, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor law, shaping a positive workplace, and aligning HR programs with business goals. You will partner with leadership to drive talent management, payroll accuracy, benefits administration, and safety initiatives. If you have 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role within Mexico, you are the kind of person who can balance process with people in a dynamic, fast-growing company. This is a single vacancy and relocation is not offered, so you should be based in or able to work locally in Mexico.
What you will work on:
Ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations regarding hiring and employment contracts.
Act as the primary point of contact for employee issues, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
Promote a healthy organizational culture based on respect, inclusion, and high performance.
Facilitate communication between employees and management.
Oversee payroll processes in coordination with finance or external payroll providers.
Administer benefits packages, including IMSS-related benefits, vacations, bonuses, and other legally required benefits.
Identify employee training needs and coordinate development programs.




Ensure HR practices comply with Ley Federal del Trabajo and related regulations.
Manage employment contracts, terminations, internal regulations, and documentation.
Support implementation of workplace safety and well-being initiatives.
Contribute to HR strategy planning aligned with corporate goals.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
5+ years of HR experience, ideally with 2+ years in a managerial role in Mexico.
Strong understanding of Mexican labor law, social security processes (IMSS), and payroll fundamentals.
Experience working with NOM standards is an advantage.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Spanish; English proficiency preferred for multinational environments.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of local labor regulations.
