Role Overview:The Specialist, Talent Acquisition supports the company's corporate recruiting objectives by guiding assigned requisitions through the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, screening, selection, and offer negotiation.
This role is a member of the organization's HR team and works closely with the HR Business Partners, Compensation & Total Rewards, HR Solutions, Learning & Development, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion to support a cohesive and collaborative partnership with Brother employees.In addition to directly supporting recruitment efforts, this position is also tasked with proactively seeking out and engaging strategic passive talent leads to grow the candidate pipeline.
This role also has responsibilities to liaise and contribute toward larger strategic projects and priorities based on greatest needs of the Americas Talent Acquisition function.This role supports Brother Americas, inclusive of the United States as well as our subsidiaries in Canada and Latin America.This role requires full business fluency in both English and Spanish.

The interview experience may feature participants engaging with you in each language.Duties & Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition & Advisership (Full-Cycle Recruiting)- - Serve as primary recruiter for assigned/selected requisitions, supporting the full recruiting lifecycle from open to close- Full lifecycle recruitment will include requisition posting, hiring team kickoff (intake) meeting, sourcing, screening, facilitating the candidate interview experience, interview team debrief, selection, offer crafting and negotiation, requisition closing, and candidate dispositions- Sourcing will entail organic applicant traffic as well as proactive outbound sourcing on a variety of channels; a strong professional networking social presence and comfort balancing engagement through multiple platforms is expected- Proactively prioritize pipeline health, concentrated in our core job categories and functions, with attention to skills and experience that align to hard-to-fill or frequently filled positions using historic data as well as strategic talent strategies as available- Talent advisership responsibilities include prioritizing the organization as the customer and building strategic partnerships with hiring teams to "diagnose" roles that lack recruiting momentum or strong talent pipelines and "prescribe" solutions to help these roles regain momentum and ensure a positive memorable recruiting experience internally and externallySpecial Projects & Initiatives- - Participate in and contribute meaningfully to projects and initiatives (some ad hoc and others evergreen) owned by the Americas Talent Acquisition team- Projects and initiatives will be determined and engaged based on business priorities but may be inclusive of the following: HRIS/ATS process, Hiring Manager training, Summer Internship Program design and recruitment, Careers Site content strategy and creation, manager and candidate pre-boarding experience, manager and candidate recruiting experience and satisfaction surveys, candidate experience initiatives, pipeline health initiatives, and other talent acquisition, talent marketing,
and talent mobility initiatives as they arise- Participation and contribution in these projects and initiatives will be as assigned and engaged by the Director, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, & Mobility (Americas) to serve as the "voice of candidate" and "voice of recruiter" in various applications, to help inform or help execute on established strategiesExperience & Qualifications:- Experience- - 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, selection, and offer negotiation, carrying a requisition load of varied levels and job categories, in a high-touch customer-centric work setting- 2+ years of corporate recruiting, in-house for an organization's Human Resources department- 2+ years of relevant recruiting experience in marketing, sales, IT, manufacturing, accounting, finance, supply chain, and customer support (Preferred)Languages- - Spanish - advanced professional proficiency or fluency- English - advanced profesisonal proficiency or fluencySoftware/Technical Skills- - Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Customer/Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) use and administration- Knowledge of various proactive sourcing platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing, social media recruiting, Boolean search, passive talent platforms such as SeekOut or ZoomInfo TalentOSOther Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities- - Ability to demonstrate a marketing mindset to present an attractive job opportunity for each open requisition, in partnership with the HR Business Partner and hiring teams- Ability to conduct excellent discovery or kickoff (intake) meetings and uncover significant insights from client groups- Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices for screening and interviewing, including conducting a behavioral/situational interview experience- Ability to be proactive and creative, leveraging multiple tools and platforms to develop a comprehensive and effective sourcing strategy tailored to the role at hand- Ability to identify and build a terrific customer experience- Ability to guide selection decisions through strategy, empathy, persuasion, and reason- Ability to partner with Compensation and HR Business Partner teams to create and present attractive offer packages; negotiation and closingtechniques- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including close attention to detail and active listeningAdditional Details for This Role:PLEASE NOTE!
This role is based in-region in Mexico but supports Brother's HR Americas recruiting team with roles across North and South America.
As such, the language requirements outlined (a full professional fluency in Spanish and English) are critical skills for the successful candidate.The recruiter screening and manager interviewing at minimum will be conducted fully in English.
