We are currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Advisor to join our team in Monterrey, Reciente León (MX-NLE), Mexico (MX).
Day to Day Job Duties
Design, develop, test, and enhance applications on the SAS Viya Cloud Platform.
Develop, maintain, and support advanced SAS programs and automated ETL processes.
Build and support integrations between vendor APIs, enterprise databases, and reporting platforms using SAS and Python.
Support production analytics capabilities, reporting solutions, and data pipelines.
Participate in application design discussions, release planning, and implementation activities.
Troubleshoot production incidents, performance issues, and provide root cause analysis.
Create and maintain technical documentation, support guides, and implementation artifacts.
Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technology partners to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAS development, analytics, data engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience, including macro development.
Strong experience with SAS Viya Cloud Platform development and administration.
Experience developing and supporting ETL processes and data integration solutions.
Proficiency in Python development, particularly API integrations and automation.
Experience working with DevSecOps practices, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytics, reporting, and data visualization experience.
Experience supporting production environments and resolving application issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




Financial Services industry experience preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Nice to Have (But Not a Must)
SAS Certified Specialist: Administration of SAS Viya.
SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming Using SAS 9.4.
SAS Certified Professional: Advanced Programming Using SAS 9.4.
Experience with cloud-based analytics and reporting platforms.
Prior experience working within automotive finance or financial services organizations.
