Safran Electrical & Power is currently developing, operating and supporting a large suite of projects and systems in order to allow ISA activities to operate efficiently and to address major business challenges, especially the Industrialization process.

As part of a plan consisting in preserving the experience and lessons learned acquired after a implementation of New Work Packages or Transfers of Work in a Business Unit, the North America division is required to appoint a APQP expert to support the local deployment teams and to develop the required knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

- In charge of the governance of APQP methodology for an industrialization project from design to operation in service.
- Ensures the logical sequence and alignment of APQP strategies and activities.
- Defines and standardizes mandatory inputs / outputs for each phase
- Provides APQP training and guidance to project managers and other stakeholders
- Coordinates the go-no go toll gates for each APQP phase.
- Captures and uses lessons learned from one APQP implementation to the next.
- Continuously improves existing check lists and OPRI's.
- Defines criteria for risk analysis and selects stakeholders involvement level
- Ensures that risks are managed at every stage of the project.
- Coordinates and develops Advanced Quality Team and skills
- Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required;
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Implement and make sure your team implement measures of health, Safety and Environment necessary to keep the Physical integrity of your team.
- Promote and Participate on Safety Management System Culture.

Candidate skills & requirements

Experiencie

Requires 5-8 years experience in manufacturing and quality processes, or an equivalent of education and experience combined.

Specific knowledge

- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies and tools - Expert
- Knowledge wiring engineering data-Advanced
- Strong knowledge on local Business processes and organization-Advanced

Desirable knowledge

- Lean-Sigma greenbelt preferred
