Mandate of the role The Compliance Analyst will help move key compliance initiatives from plan to action and build practical systems and processes that make it easier for our teams to do the right thing every day. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Compliance, the analyst will be a key day-to-day partner for the Compliance team, with an initial focus on Code of Ethics initiatives, antitrust and competition compliance, data privacy, and data governance.
Role responsibilities
- Coordinate compliance projects, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, meetings, and follow-up actions to ensure timely execution.
- Support the Compliance Director and team with project updates, dashboards, presentations, reporting, and governance materials.
- Design, document, implement, and continuously improve compliance processes, controls, workflows, procedures, trackers, and repositories.
- Manage and enhance compliance programs, including the Code of Ethics, policy governance, antitrust, data privacy, and data governance initiatives.
- Oversee policy lifecycle activities, including reviews, approvals, version control, publication, translations, archiving, and compliance records.
- Support risk assessments, monitoring activities, remediation tracking, training, awareness campaigns, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain program inventories, governance records, action plans, decision logs, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Assist in implementing and optimizing compliance technology, reporting solutions, dashboards, metrics, and performance tracking.
- Develop practical procedures, toolkits, templates, FAQs, presentations, and communication materials to drive compliance adoption.
- Collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements, resolve issues, and promote consistent practices.
- Proactively manage assigned priorities, identify risks and roadblocks,
and ensure reliable execution in a fast-paced general environment.
Skills required
- Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in law, paralegal studies, accounting, business administration, management, finance, compliance, audit, risk, privacy, information governance, or a related field.
- Compliance, privacy, audit, project management, paralegal, accounting, or related professional certification is an asset.
- 5+ of relevant experience in compliance, paralegal work, legal operations, accounting, audit, risk management, project coordination, privacy, policy administration, governance, or a comparable corporate role.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with a service-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Manage compliance projects, policies, and governance activities.
- Coordinate training, communications, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
- Develop and improve processes, controls, procedures, and documentation.
- Maintain dashboards, metrics, reporting, and compliance records.
- Support data privacy, ethics, antitrust, and compliance technology programs.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution and continuous improvement.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, ownership, reliability, and sound judgment when handling sensitive matters and information.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish
, written and spoken. French, German or proficiency in other languages are a great asset.
- Knowledge of ethics and compliance programs, antitrust or competition compliance, data privacy, or data governance is an asset, but deep legal specialization is not required.
