Role Description The Gerente de Logística y Distribución is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City, Mexico. This position oversees day-to-day logistics operations, including planning and coordinating product distribution, supervising warehousing activities, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to customers.

The role manages inventory levels, monitors stock rotation, and collaborates with procurement to align purchasing with demand and distribution capacity. The manager develops and optimizes supply chain processes, establishes performance metrics, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and operational efficiency.



This role also includes collaborating with customer service teams to resolve delivery issues, maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards, and leading and coaching the logistics team.

Qualifications

- Strong Logistics Management and Distribution Management skills, including route planning, transportation coordination, and warehouse oversight.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement, with the ability to align sourcing, purchasing, and inventory with demand forecasts.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management, including stock control, cycle counts, and optimization of storage and turnover.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Customer Service, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using ERP or logistics management systems.
- Ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is an advantage.
