Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Trainee/Apprentice/VIE-TAV to join our team at Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of logistics operations within a dynamic automotive supplier environment. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient material flow.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of inbound and outbound logistics activities.

- Support inventory management, including stock checks, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.

- Participate in the monitoring and analysis of logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, freight forwarders).

- Learn and apply Valeo's logistics standards, processes, and tools.

- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.





- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and reports.

- Support the optimization of transportation routes and modes.

- Assist in managing customs procedures and import/export documentation.

- Participate in special logistics projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications**

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

- Basic understanding of supply chain principles is a plus.

- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
