Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role located in Mexicali, BCN at Zona Truck. The Mechanic will perform routine and complex mechanical work on trucks and heavy equipment, including inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. Daily tasks include identifying mechanical issues, troubleshooting systems, replacing or repairing faulty parts, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

The role also involves documenting work performed, following company and regulatory guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and collaborating with the operations team to minimize downtime and support fleet readiness.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in general Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of trucks and heavy equipment.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs and scheduled service procedures.
- Hands-on experience working with Heavy Equipment,



including diagnostics and component replacement.
- Proficient Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in workshop and fleet environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in mechanics, diesel technology, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy parts and tools, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable teamwork and communication skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience as a truck or heavy equipment mechanic is highly beneficial.
