Role Description The Senior Vice President of Technology and Product is a part-time, hybrid role based in Mexico City, Mexico, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the technology and product vision across Marea Group’s portfolio, aligning digital strategy with the broader investment and operational objectives.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives with business leaders, and guiding the design and delivery of technology solutions that enhance manufacturing and services operations. The SVP will lead and mentor product and technology teams, establish standards for architecture, security, and data management, and ensure effective vendor and partner management.
The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with executive leadership to evaluate new technologies and digital business models that support USMCA-related growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strategic technology leadership skills, including experience defining digital roadmaps, product portfolios, and innovation strategies in complex organizations.
- Product management expertise, such as lifecycle management, requirements prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven decision-making.
- Operational technology and systems experience in manufacturing and services, ideally within cross-border or USMCA-related environments.
- Strong people leadership capabilities, including team mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and change management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Proven track record working with executive teams, boards, or investors and managing external technology partners or vendors.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, and willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Mexico City.
