Role Description This full-time, on-site Telecommunications Engineer role is based in Mexicali, BCN.

The Telecommunications

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems and network infrastructure to ensure reliable delivery of TV, internet, and voice services. Daily responsibilities include configuring and monitoring network and VoIP equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues, and performing root-cause analysis to prevent service interruptions. The role also involves providing technical support to internal teams, documenting network changes and configurations,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and customer experience.

The engineer will follow industry best practices and company standards for safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including transmission, switching, and access technologies.
- Experience with network design and configuration for data, voice, and video services.
- Hands-on skills in Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, protocols, and related equipment.
- Proven troubleshooting and technical support capabilities for complex network and service issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with IP networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching), and network monitoring tools.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and standards, and maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in teams, and readiness to support on-site operations and occasional field work.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, networking, or telecom) are an advantage.
- Fluency in Spanish; basic English reading and writing for technical materials is beneficial.
