tential is seeking an access specialist level ii to support identity and access operations within a large-scale enterprise environment. In addition to day-to-day provisioning and access-request management, this role contributes to process documentation and improvement initiatives and is expected to work independently when resolving access-related issues.
responsibilities
- provision user accounts during onboarding, including role-based access and secure credential management.
- process user offboarding and remove access in accordance with established procedures.
- manage approval requests, password resets, and day-to-day access requests.
- apply the principle of least privilege when granting or modifying access.
- create and update process documentation as issues, exceptions, or process changes are identified.
- assist with access-management process improvement initiatives.
- provide timely solutions to unique or non-standard access-related issues.
- collaborate with team members to support users across multiple time zones.
- participate in weekend on-call rotation as required.
required qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in it support, service desk, identity/access support, or a related environment.
- strong working understanding of active directory and okta environments.
- hands-on experience with powershell.
- experience using systems such as servicenow and jira to manage requests, projects, or work items.
- knowledge of server and pc workstation hardware, software, and security fundamentals.
- experience with windows and macos, including application provisioning and troubleshooting.
- strong organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing processes.
preferred qualifications
- bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, mcse certification, or equivalent professional experience.
- familiarity with game-development processes, consoles, or related terminology.
