this role is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost competitiveness and supply continuity for critical components in a fast-paced, integral environment.
key responsibilities
- lead sourcing activities and supplier selection for automotive components (tier 1 & tier 2).
- negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve cost reduction targets.
- ensure continuity of supply and resolve potential disruptions impacting production.
- manage supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability (qcds).
- support new program launches, engineering changes, and production ramp-ups.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain).
- align regional execution with global commodity strategies.
- analyze market trends, cost structures, and supplier capabilities to support strategic decisions.
qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
- advanced english (mandatory).
- 5+ years of experience in automotive procurement or sourcing .
- strong understanding of electronics supply chain, lead times, and supplier constraints .
- advanced negotiation and analytical skills.
- experience working with tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers .
- knowledge of automotive standards (ppap, apqp, iatf 16949).
salary range
- $60,000 to $70,000 gross salary per month plus benefits above the law.
