Review and influence customer specification, drawings, RFP, RFQ and develop table of compliance (TOC)
Act as the deal focal point and provide application engineering guidance to customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders
Lead quoting for Standard and Complex Controls offerings
Develop tailored control system solutions using quoting tools, technical libraries, system configurations, hardware, and design standards
Ensure accurate cost estimation and manage technical, execution, and commercial risks within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process
Coordinate with supply chain and third-party providers to obtain quotations for extended project scope
Work with sales and pricing teams to develop competitive deal-winning pricing and strategy
Consolidate deal financials
Present deals to the commercial review board for approvals and ensure ITO process compliance
Manage tender schedules, internal approvals, bid submission, and readiness for order booking
Lead techno-commercial proposal generation
Participate in customer meetings, negotiations, and presentations
Manage the advance release and short cycle process
Own project handover from ITO to OTR phase and the execution team upon PO or contract signature
Attend technical and commercial trainings
Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes, proposal templates, application guides, and best practices
Meet or exceed commercial KPIs such as quality, proposal cycle time, and on-time delivery
Requirements Bachelor of Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, electronic, power preferred)



with minimum 2 years' experience in application/design and/or field service in industrial control systems
Some Experience in Unit Control (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Aero, Hydro or Nuclear), DCS, Generator (Excitation/Static Starters), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Cyber
Effective use of Personal Computer Technologies- MS Office, quoting tools such as Salesforce, CPQ, etc.
Fluent English communication skills
Commercial and contractual expertise
Experience in developing and writing specifications and/or proposals
Creative solution and problem-solving skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
