Work with internal component D&R; engineers from both Underbody Systems Engineering and Electrified Powertrain Engineering to lead overall internal systems design Systems design rule assessments System cooling/lubrication design GVWR, VMAX, Torque limit, duty cycle and durability assessments Requirements cascade to component engineers, sub system design specification management Layout and stack up sign off Overall component and system test alignment Weight management/optimization Work with vehicle program team to ensure proper execution of external interfaces Vehicle package signoff Vehicle attribute interface As installed system lead Interface with internal manufacturing team (including PTME and VO) Requirements BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree (MS preferred) 4+ yrs of experience managing /delivering powertrain programs through launch Proactive self starter that can handle multiple assignments at a time Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self motivates to deliver results with minimal direction Desire to lead cross functional working teams Strong problem solving skills Excellent writing, speaking, interpersonal skills and presentation MBSE (model based systems engineering)
