Principal Responsibilities
Perform reliability tests including Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), Highly Accelerated Stress Testing (HASS), Burn-in and life cycle testing, Temperature, humidity, and environmental stress testing, load and electrical stress testing
Set up test fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
Monitor and record test results accurately and consistently.
Diagnostics and troubleshooting of failed units at component and system level
Work closely with engineering teams to identify design or process issues
Compile, distribute, and maintain reliability data and test logs
Generate basic reports summarizing test results and failure modes
Ensure test equipment safety, cleanliness, and compliance with standards
Provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams to improve product reliability
Assist in validation of new designs, components, and process changes
Ensure testing meets applicable standards, procedures / work instructions.
Follow safety procedures when working with high-voltage equipment
Support audits and documentation for quality systems (ISO 9001, etc.)
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma)
Competencies / abilities
Range/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermidate, 3- Advanced, 4- Expert)
Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
2–5 years of experience in electronics testing, reliability, or manufacturing
Experience with power electronics or power supplies is strongly preferred
Intermediate understanding of power electronics, electronic components and circuits
Ability to read and interpret schematics, test procedures and engineering drawings
Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, data logging systems
Familiarity with reliability and statistics concepts (MTBF, Weibull analysis is a plus)
Soft Skills: Problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Good written and verbal communication skills
Personal Protection Equipment required
Cotton smock, safety glasses and shoes.
Computer Equipment required
Desktop computer, headset.
