Job Description: Operational Excellence (OpEx) EngineerPosition SummaryThe Operational Excellence (OpEx) Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity.
This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and sustain process improvements that support business objectives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering.Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Experience with process mapping and data analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytical tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.Experience with ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Knowledge of statistical analysis and process capability studies.Experience in change management and project management methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other Operational Excellence methodologies.Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies,
bottlenecks, and waste.Develop and implement process improvements that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analyses.Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.Standardize work processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
