We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist – Mexico to support end-to-end payroll processing for multiple legal entities.
This role is critical to ensuring payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely execution while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors.This Is What You Will Do in This Role:Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Mexico, including weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for three companiesExecute complex payroll calculations, adjustments, off-cycle payments, and final settlements for terminationsSupport special payroll processes such as annual ISR adjustment, PTU, Christmas bonus (aguinaldo), and savings fundEnsure full compliance with Mexican labor and statutory regulations, including LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, ICSOE, SISUB, and SAT requirementsMaintain and manage employee payroll data across systems such as Tress, UKG WFM, SAP, and WorkdayCalculate and process mandatory deductions and contributions, including ISR, ISN,
and Social SecurityGenerate accurate payroll reports for Finance, Accounting, and leadership, including variable SBC (Salario Base de Cotización) reportsAct as a subject matter expert, resolving complex payroll discrepancies, system issues, and employee inquiriesSupport internal and external audits (IMSS, SAT), ensuring strong controls and audit readinessCollaborate with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors to ensure data accuracy and smooth payroll operationsWhat We Are Looking For:6-8 years of proven experience managing Mexican payroll with strong knowledge of IMSS, INFONAVIT, LFT, ICSOE, SISUB, and SAT regulationsHands-on experience with payroll and HR systems such as Tress, UKG WFM, SAP, Workday, or similar platformsStrong Excel skills for payroll analysis, reporting, and data validationHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity focusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex payroll issuesExcellent communication skills to support employees and stakeholdersAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismSpanish and English proficiency requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
