As a Sr. Associate, Production Planning supporting the Surgical Instrumentation Parts & Components team, you will be responsible for managing material planning, procurement activities, production schedules, and supply chain execution in support of Alcon's R&D; operations.

This role serves as a key liaison between suppliers, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and research teams to ensure materials, components, and assemblies are available to support product development timelines and project milestones.





The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, project management experience, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with integral stakeholders in a dynamic and innovative environment.

In this role, a typical day will include:
- Maintain schedules for material requirements and material availability to support R&D; production and development activities.
- Coordinate and monitor the flow of materials, components, and assemblies between suppliers, laboratories, manufacturing sites, and internal departments.
- Compile and analyze records regarding quantities, costs, inventory levels, and material utilization.
- Review material demand and supply plans to identify actual and potential shortages and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with R&D;, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support development projects and business priorities.
