Job PurposeThe General Ledger Supervisor will review journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.Key Responsibilities & DutiesFinancial Review & Approval: Review and approve journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations prepared by the team.Amortization & Insurance: Assist with amortization schedules and inter-company charges for risk insurance.Inter-Company Accounting: Assist with inter-company loan schedules and journal entries.Tax & Reporting: Assist with the preparation of property tax renditions and amortization journal entries.Cross-Functional Communication: Partner directly with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies.Time Management:



Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet strict CAPEX tracking and period-end close deadlines.Adaptability & Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the team while maintaining flexibility to adjust pace as project volumes fluctuate.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: 2 to 5 years of accounting experience (experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus).
Technical Skills:Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.Clear communication skills.Manager Experience: Supervise a team of 2 to 3 employees.
