Responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance, installation, and improvement activities for mechanical, electrical, combustion, extraction, HVAC, fire protection, and lifting/handling equipment systems for the new project, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance (safety, environmental, and quality), and cost control from the facility start-up stage. **Roles & Responsibilities** **Daily Maintenance Management** + Review pending items generated outside of working hours with the contractors and OEMs that are installing the Systems of the facilities + Generate a daily executive report of the Maintenance department before 8:00 am for management. + Attend visual management boards (0-100 Board) according to the established schedule, report and communicate the pending-items gap to the assigned department. **Safety** + Verify safety standards: accidents and incidents, capture of unsafe acts and conditions, OSI captures, and safety talks for both personal and service department staff. + Generate and present the SOS (Safety Operating System) report to management according to the established schedule. + Lead the team on Safety procedures for installing machines and develop deep knowledge on Protag process. **Service Delivery and Facilities** + Ensure compliance with maintenance routes and service areas (restrooms, offices, sports areas, air fresheners, meeting rooms, urinal mats, septic tanks, etc.). **Costs and Administration** + Control expenses and consumption of janitorial materials, track pending warehouse materials and purchase orders, and generate warehouse tickets when necessary. + Coordinate service departments: central maintenance, general labor, cleaning, water treatment, tool room, electronics, powerhouse (preventive maintenance), and clarification systems. + Generate scopes of work for hiring service providers and follow up on the purchasing process in accordance with company guidelines. **Personnel** + Verify attendance lists, vacation scheduling, and clock-in/clock-out records for service departments. **Environmental and Quality** + Comply with environmental requirements and support all ISO 9000 requirements (waste collection, etc.). + Ensure compliance with standards established in One Point Lessons (LSP) and audits, guaranteeing high-quality work. **Technical Support and Training** + Provide support to production lines on machining and/or machine issues when required. + Deliver training courses on Green Belt, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing,



spindles and heads, basic electricity, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and metrology. + Apply FPS and MOS knowledge to processes. + Support Tool Room personnel in the use of machine tools. **Electrical Systems and Compressed Air** + Provide support and knowledge of high- and medium-voltage electrical systems. + Know and support the compressed air supply system (compressors). **Cafeteria and Welding** + Support kitchen equipment for required maintenance. + Follow up on welding jobs, have basic knowledge of the task, and support welders when required. **Mechanical Installations and Repairs** + Installation of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mist extraction systems. + Supervision of mechanical installations (production machines, utilities, etc.). + Generation of requisitions for purchase orders and quoting of installations. + Dismantling of obsolete mechanical components and generation of material disposal documentation. + Coordination of installations without affecting production. + Layout updates related to mechanical installations. + Repair of mechanical systems (leaks, obsolescence, damage, etc.). **Production Washer Engineering** + Updating washer engineering (drawings, obsolescence, programs, etc.). + Research on new technologies to reduce cycle time or improve washing/drying. + Production support, implementation of improvements, and part number set-up. + Ensuring quality compliance in operations. **Cranes and Manipulators** + Setting up spare parts for cranes and manipulators. + Implementing improvements in lifting systems (capacity, ergonomics, safety). + Coordinating annual certification of cranes and manipulators. + Installing lifting systems and ensuring proper functioning. **Combustion Safety (Senior Mechanical)** + Quarterly focused audits on combustion equipment over 400,000 BTU. + Scheduling and conducting the annual combustion safety audit with a third party. + Annual maintenance of combustion equipment. + Coordinating any activity involving ECPL on combustion equipment. **Extraction** + Ensuring proper functioning of extraction equipment, duct maintenance, and preventing blockages.



+ Setting up spare parts and balancing extraction according to each production machine's needs. + Research and implementation of improvements in mist/dust extraction equipment. **HVAC** + Implementing improvements to air handling units (AHUs/BVDFs). + Setting up spare parts and troubleshooting/repairing equipment. + Maintaining adecuado temperature and humidity conditions in facilities, offices, and measurement rooms (CMMs). **Fire Protection System (FPS/SCI)** + Coordinating activities to meet annual audit (AON) requirements. + Repairing leaks in fire protection piping and updating drawings after modifications. + Setting up spare parts and requesting them according to monthly maintenance schedules **Improvement Projects** + Research and implementation of improvements for water and energy savings, emission reduction, etc. + Writing project proposals in the CPARs platform to secure funding approval and implementation. + Standardizing mechanical equipment to reduce the variety of spare parts. + Researching new technologies applicable to the project. **Equipment Lifting** + Be responsible and a certified expert in equipment and machinery lifting.Specialized Areas of Responsibility. **Education** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field **Work Experience** Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance, facilities, or plant start-up projects **Certification's** Certification in equipment/machinery lifting (forklift/crane), preferred **Technical Knowledge** Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems (high and medium voltage), compressed air, combustion equipment (>400,000 BTU), mist/dust extraction systems, HVAC, fire protection systems (FPS/SCI), industrial wash/dry systems **Methodologies / Tools** FPS (Ford Production System) / MOS, Green Belt, 8D problem-solving methodology, One Point Lessons (LSP), ISO 9000 **Functional Skills** Contract and vendor management, generation of requisitions and purchase orders, cost and material consumption control, management of service departments **Administrative Skills** Handling of maintenance system (MFM), preparation of executive reports, attendance list control, and vacation scheduling **Leadership Skills** Teamwork, trainer/instructor capability, results-driven, effective communication with management. Leadership with the personnel under supervision. **Languages** Fluent English, written and spoken #FORDMEXICO
